OVERVIEW
The Gidel HawkEye Frame Grabbers are high-performance, cost-effective, off-the-shelf solutions enabling entry-level on-board image processing the option to evolve to Gidel's high-end processing boards. The Frame Grabbers are supported by a user-friendly GUI application as well as API library for developing a customized application.
1.Grabbing Capabilities:
¡á Up to 2 ¡¿ 850MB/s acquisition ¡á Supports Camera Link Base, Medium, Full and 80-bit (Deca) configurations ¡á Up to 16 GB of DDR4 ¡á Multi-operation modes: ◦ Conventional grabbing modes (preset scheme). ◦ Selective ROI grabbing using on-the-fly requests from user application. ¡á Automatic partitioning of line scan (and large Area scan) camera input into frames, with a frame overlapping option.
Frames may be grabbed in reference to global coordinates enabling easy comparison with reference image.
2. Application and development tools support:
¡á Frame grabbing GUI application ¡á API suite for user customized application ¡á Support for GenICam standard allowing camera configuration
Gidel also offers complete integration service according to customer's specifications.
SPECIFICATION
¡á Up to 50 Gb/s acquisition rate. ¡á PCIe x8 Gen. 3 for peak throughput of 64 Gb/s. ¡á MTBF > million hours. ¡á Support for PoCL Camera Link 2.0 Base, Medium, Full and 80-bit configurations or dual base configuration. ¡á Support for for remote cameras over fiber optics (HawkEye-RFG) using Gidel's remote fiber optics module. Standard
transmission distance is up to 2 Km with an option for up to 40Km. ¡á Support for Line scan and Area scan cameras. ¡á RS422, opto-coupler, LVTTL and 30V at 0.9A IOs for optimized system connectivity allowing, for example, synchronizing
cameras. ¡á Multi-operation modes: ◦ Conventional grabbing modes (preset scheme). ◦ Selective ROIs. All images are stored in grabber and the user selects the ROIs to transfer to the Host. This can be
used in response to on-the-fly, first phase FPGA Vision scanning, or to manual operator(s) command. ¡á Automatic partitioning of line scan (and large area scan) camera input into frames with frame overlapping simplifying
image processing by eliminating the need for adjacent frames. ¡á Low power - starting at less than 10W. ¡á Form factor: PCIe low-profile. ¡á Support for GenICam Interface.
